Our Mission

PBLC provides leadership, coaching and resources with aims to :

Promote the Lifesaving Sport in New Brunswick

We aim to host an annual Swim to Survive Clinic and provide Junior Fundamental Clinics in the near future.

Provide year round support for athletes.

We offer year round practices, either at the beach or at the pool.

Develop competitive athletes

We provides high performance practices with the equipment necessary to practice and to compete.

Head Coach

Jacques Levesque

Mr. Levesque has coached for 5 decades across Quebec, New Brunswick, Ontario and Prince Edward Island. He is the former Head Coach of the Club de Natation Bleu et Or (CNBO) in Moncton, NB (from 2004 to 2019). He currently holds a Level 2 Certification for the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP).

He has well performed as a coach and an athlete. He achieved 33 national qualifiers from sprints to long distance and on all strokes including the IM and has coached over 1900 athletes. He also medaled as an athlete and as a coach at Interprovincial Pool lifeguard competitions (Technical and Physical), as well as Interprovincial and International Beach lifeguard competitions.

He is fluently bilingual (French and English), and he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science of Education.
